The Arris Ventures management team is comprised of a diverse
group of managers with complementing skill sets assembled
specifically to build value in companies and generate
attractive returns for our investors. Each portfolio company
benefits from a team of knowledgeable professionals who
are skilled in the areas of private equity management,
professional consulting, and entrepreneurship. Our partners
work collaboratively to ensure the combined experience
of the firm is leveraged to achieve optimum value for
our entire portfolio.
Charlie
Lewis Managing partner
Mr. Lewis brings 17 years of entrepreneurial and
private equity experience to Arris Ventures. For
the past seven years, Mr. Lewis has co-managed $25
million of private equity, with a focus on Arizona
technology companies. During that time, he was involved
in the merger or acquisition of three portfolio
companies, one by a public corporation (NYSE: IDR).
Mr. Lewis has assumed senior management positions
in three high tech companies in the software and
semiconductor markets. Prior to that, he served
as international director of distribution for ANVT,
Inc. and CEO of Arizona-based Midas Computers from
1984 until POS Systems acquired the company in 1993.
Mr. Lewis graduated magna cum laude with a B.S.
in Computer Information Systems from Arizona State
University. |

Kent
Petzold
Mr. Petzold brings over 25 years of high-technology
leadership experience to Arris Ventures specializing
in launching new software companies and turnarounds
of all sizes. He has served as president and CEO
of Cyclone Commerce, Inc.; Novadigm, Inc. (NASD:
NVDM), where he continues to serve the company as
an outside director; ViaSoft, Inc.; and as SVP and
general manager of Pansophic Systems, Inc. Mr. Petzold
has participated in numerous IPO and successful
M&A transactions. He is currently on the board
of Toronto based Xenos Group, Inc. (TSE: XNOS),
as well as several private technology companies.
Other director and advisory roles include Arizona
State University's Software Factory and the Arizona
Technology Council. Mr. Petzold holds a B.A. in
management from the University of Texas.

Mike
Stowell
Mr. Stowell brings 14 years of consulting, entrepreneurial,
and technology experience to Arris Ventures. As
a senior manager with Accenture, he assisted clients
in a variety of areas including business process
design and business strategies for marketing, eCommerce,
and the launching of new businesses. As program
manager of Accenture's eProcess initiative, Mr.
Stowell developed and globally deployed eCommerce
knowledge capital to over 30,000 of Accenture's
professionals, as well as its clients. Prior to
his work at Accenture, he served as a regional sales
manager and technical consultant for Arizona-based,
start-up software company, Sequentia. Mr. Stowell's
early career included several engineering positions
with Honeywell. He holds an MBA from Arizona State
University and a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from
Carnegie Mellon University. |

Shawn
Boskie
Mr. Boskie recently finished a fifteen-year baseball
career, eight of which were played in the Major
Leagues. He was a first round draft choice of the
Chicago Cubs in 1986, and pitched with six major
league organizations. During his professional career,
Mr. Boskie developed critical business skills in
public relations and marketing as he represented
his respective teams in extensive community relations
and public service engagements. Further, Mr. Boskie
consistently participated in marketing initiatives
and served as team representative for key promotional
campaigns and appearances. Outside of baseball,
he has traveled extensively throughout the world
speaking, teaching, and functioning in a representative
role for several organizations. He is on the board
of The De Angelis Group, a biotech and pharmaceutical
industry placement agent for senior executives and
also serves as a task force board member for the
local Fellowship of Christian Athletes.
